Own a piece of Southport History!! This vintage Historical Marker commemorates the Old Brunswick County Courthouse and St. Philip's Chapel of the Cross. It was once displayed in Southport as part of the Historic Walking Tour. It has since been prepared for display with a custom wooden frame. A heavy wrought-iron easel is included to facilitate display in your home, business or organization. The framed marker’s dimensions are 38” by 26”. The dimensions of the easel is 20.5”w x 16”d x 48”h. See the photos for an example of what the marker would look like on an easel.
A note from Southport Historical Society: Our online auction is raising money to support the Southport Historical Society and the Southport Beautification Committee. All auction proceeds will go directly to support programs that benefit the greater Southport community - education, historic preservation, and beautification. Proceeds will also help fund the annual Susie Sellers Carson Scholarship for graduating South Brunswick High School seniors. Thank you to all of our generous donors. We greatly appreciate your help supporting these important programs, and we wish you good luck with your bids!
